Renowned multi-chain cryptocurrency platform, ONTology, has collaborated with world’s highest-valued AI enterprise, SenseTime. Furthermore, SenseTime will empower identity verification in ONTology’s public chain, using AI techniques such as Deep Learning.
ONTology made the announcement via Twitter and their official blog on Medium.
Identity verification is a mandatory step that needs to be taken. SenseTime will ensure whether users are genuine, based on multiple verification methods. Furthermore, these methods include verification through identification documents, and facial comparison using facial recognition.
Furthermore, this will also help advance the research in the blockchain and mainly artificial intelligence, and deep learning.

SenseTime believes in “upholding originality and let AI lead human progress“. With this, SenseTime has created a state-of-the-art supercomputer center for AI research and development. Furthermore, the primary focus of the research is deep learning is to push the bar of AI technologies in fields like image recognition, facial recognition, text recognition, self-driving vehicles, and remote sensing.
By providing its world-class algorithms to over 700 clientele in China, it has become the largest AI company in China to do so. Furthermore, SenseTim’s clients include Huawei, Honda, UnionPay, and Wanda, focusing on domains like smartphones, entertainment, finance, the automobile sector, and smart cities.
How will this work?
SenseTime will provide the ONTology project with SenseID, its unique identity verification module. SenseID verifies using text recognition and facial recognition in video. It lets the user verify itself in real time just using a camera, and provide a card, to further verify its authenticity to the platform.
