Binance Completes its Highest-Ever Quarterly BNB Burn Event

Today Binance successfully completes its 14th quarterly BNB token burn event. This burn event is for the quarter ending October to December 2020.

This time Binance burned a total of 3,619,888 BNB in which the actual burn was 3,609,050 BNB, and 10,838 BNB burned via the Pioneer Burn Program.

Before this 14th quarterly burn the total supply of BNB token was 174,152,713 BNB and now after burn it’s 170,532,825 BNB.

The interesting part of this burn event is that it’s the highest-ever in both US dollar terms and amount of BNB burned. Now the 2ns highest BNB token burn event is 12th in which a total of 3,477,388 BNB was burned.

As you know BNB also hits its new all-time high today. Now the new ATH of BNB token is $47.10 as per CoinMarketCap. At press time BNB is trading at $43.54 USD with a market cap of $6,765,792,828 USD.
