Binance Lists Decentralized and Open L1 Blockchain Toncoin (TON) on its Platform

Cryptocurrency exchange Binance, today announces the listing of Toncoin on its platform. Toncoin is a decentralized and open L1 blockchain, created by the community using a technology designed by Telegram.

The trading for Toncoin is live from 2024-08-08 10:00 (UTC) on Binance under the spot trading pair TON/BTC, TON/USDT, TON/FDUSD, and TON/TRY. However, the withdrawals for TON are allowed from 2024-08-09 10:00 (UTC) as per the official blog post.

The price of TON surges by more than 10% soon after the listing announcement. At press time TON is trading at $6.29 and the price is up by 12.25% (1d). If we look at the trading volume then it’s up by 240.46% as per CoinMarketCap.

Toncoin (TON) is the 8th largest cryptocurrency in terms of market cap. Currently. its market cap is $15,867,922,856.
