Brave browser is now the default web browser for the HTC Exodus smartphone. As you know Brave browser is a blockchain powered browser which blocks ads and website trackers. Now this browser will be pre-installed on the HTC Exodus 1.
Brendan Eich, co-founder of Brave and previously Mozilla, announces through a tweet “We are very happy to have Brave as default browser & to be working with HTC on their Exodus phone”.
Brave lets its users earn Bravo Rewards, which is paid in Brave’s native cryptocurrency token, dubbed the Basic Attention Token (BAT). This is the revenue model of the web browser. Brave will make use of the anonymous blockchain technology to enable this ambitious service/feature.
Renowned publishers like The Guardian and The Washington Post have already registered for the program as its popularity grows in the YouTube and Twitch Streaming field. Most noteworthy, over 10,000 creative content producers have registered for the program.
HTC, the renowned Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer, which brought the first Android smartphone in the smartphone industry, is making the news again. The smartphone manufacturer is creating a blockchain-powered smartphone dubbed the Exodus 1. The phone manufacturing company announced about making a blockchain-powered smartphone back in May of this year.
