Coinbase Commerce Adds Invoicing Feature to its Platform

Coinbase Commerce debuted invoicing feature for its merchants. It is a subsidiary of one of the largest cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase.

Coinbase tweets about this feature via the official Twitter page, “Invoicing on Coinbase Commerce is now available. Merchants can easily create and send crypto invoices that customers can view and pay online. We’re building simple crypto payment tools to help merchants achieve their business goals.”

Now merchants that use Coinbase Commerce platform can easily receive payments from its clients by sending the invoice.

Merchants have to enter the email address along with the due date in order to generate an invoice. Merchants can receive crypto payments in their own wallet.

Currently, Coinbase Commerce has also built plugins for several major eCommerce platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce etc. With the help of this plugin integration merchants can easily receive Bitcoin, Ethereum, DAI, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, or USD Coin.

The best part is that there are no fees to accept crypto (as per the official website). There are already more than 8000+ merchants on Coinbase Commerce that are accepting cryptocurrency as payments.

A Few days ago Coinbase also filed an application with SEC for an IPO. “We have confidentially submitted our draft registration (Form S1) with the Securities and Exchange Commission.”

“The Form S-1 is expected to become effective after the SEC completes its review process, subject to market and other conditions,” added Coinbase.
