El Salvador Government Discussing to Pay Salaries in Bitcoin

According to the source, El Salvador’s Minister of Labor and Social Welfare Rolando Castro says that the government is in discussion with the companies regarding the payment of their salaries in Bitcoin.

Three El Salvadorian government ministries are in the discussion of whether the companies should pay the salaries of their employees in Bitcoin.

Last week Bitcoin bill by President Nayib Bukele was passed by congress with a majority vote. With this bill, El Salvador becomes the first country to make Bitcoin a legal tender.

Recently, President Nayib Bukele is working to utilize volcanoes for the green mining of cryptocurrencies.

Today Peter McCormack also meet with President Nayib Bukele to discuss volcano mining.

The tweet by Peter McCormack reads, “I was honoured to be invited to the El Salvadorian Presidential Palace to meet with President Nayib Bukele. We discussed #bitcoin, volcano mining and the opportunity for the people of this great country. This project is the real deal.”
