TRON Announces Million-Dollar DAPP Developer Contest

In order to bring innovation to the blockchain industry today, TRON announces its Accelerator plan. This will empower the startups and developers to build Dapps based on TRON protocol.

Today Justin Sun tweets about the Accelerator plan. He states “This industry-leading plan, #TRON accelerator plan will empower developers and start-ups to develop #Dapps based on TRON protocol, one of the most active protocols with a daily transaction volume of over 1 million and more than 600,000 wallets.

About the TRON Accelerator Plan

TRON Accelerator Plan is an online contest of TRON with a prize pool of $1 Million. According to the Tron’s official post on Medium, Dapps of various categories, all have the potential to win the 56 awards.

Developers are invited to join the contest from December 1st, 2018 to midnight January 4th, 2019 (PST). The participants have to submit their work to www.tronaccelerator.io

Competition Timeline

The judges will start reviewing the submitted projects from 5th of January 2019. The winners of the TRON Accelerator will be announced and rewarded at its first international summit, niTROn Summit, in San Francisco.

Awards for TRON Accelerator

The first prize winner of this contest will be awarded by $200000 while the 2nd and 3rd position holder will be awarded $100000 and $50000 respectively.

However, there are also 8 special prizes of $30000 each and $240000 in total. 8 winners in 8 different categories will be selected based on:

• Excellent Application Tool
• Excellent Decentralized Exchange
• Excellent UI Design
• Excellent Innovation
• Excellent User Experience
• Most Influential DApp
• Most Onchain Activity DApp

The 42 finalists will also be awarded $5000 each.
