TRON [TRX] debuts at 2nd in China’s Blockchain Ranking, EOS still tops

China’s Center for Information and Industry Development (CCID) releases its monthly Blockchain and Cryptocurrency Rankings for February 2019. CCID runs under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China. It has published the latest rankings of its Global Public Blockchain Technology Assessment Index (GPBTAI).

Moreover, this time EOS is topping the list again as the last time in January 2019. EOS gets the first position with a total index of 150.5. Furthermore, the renowned cryptocurrency digital asset TRON (TRX) is debuting on the list at the coveted 2nd position. Ethereum (ETH) is also jumping the list but rests at the 3rd position. Ontology (ONT) which was at the 3rd position in the January 2019 ranking is falling down to the 6th position.

What are the criteria of the rankings?

The basic tech, creativity and the applicability of the cryptocurrency are taken into consideration for comparing their use case and ease of use.

Well, first of all, here is the complete list of the rankings for the month of February 2019. The most renowned cryptocurrency digital asset Bitcoin (BTC) takes the 13th position by jumping 2 positions compared to the previous ranking. It comes with a total index score of 104.5. The rankings for Bitcoin is improving with time.

We see that the open source cryptocurrency Stellar Lumen (XLM) which was at the 11th position in January has fallen to the 15th position. Ripple (XRP) took up the 20th position with a total index score of 94.7.

The listing since May 2018 is active in listing the current trending or developing blockchain and cryptocurrency digital assets. The list gets its support from the Chinese Government’s CCID Blockchain Institute with China Software Testing Center and supports from their CCID Think Tanks. The ranking invovles top minds from renowned Chinese Universities such as Peking University
